Big League: Bonyo Doubtful, Okiror Back As Proline Face Kira United

Saturday, March 21
Proline FC Vs Kira United, Lugogo

Giant Slayers Proline FC will play host to Kira United in the StarTimes FUFA Big League encounter at Lugogo.

The hosts, top of Rwenzori group with 30 points, may miss the services of Ibrahim Bonyo who is still nursing an injury.

The younger ace, formerly at KCCA FC, came off the bench to score an extra time winner against top flight side Vipers SC in the Uganda Cup.

Hakim Ssekito is the other player sidelined for the hosts. However, good news from the camp can confirm that Joshua Okiror is back and may be given a place in the starting team.

“We are not undermining our opponents but we just need maximum points as a must,” vowed club coach Shafic Bisaso.

“They are a good team that have made some changes since we last met, but we are aware and ready to take them on. We are not looking at history here, our focus is to win our next games.”

“We want to keep our emotions low, we want to raise our momentum as we focus on taking the players to the next level.”

Proline sit top of the summit, 18 points above Kira United in ninth position who have gathered 12 points from their 15 games.

Bisaso will bank on Captain Noordin Bunjo, Centre back Mustafa Kiiza and intelligent youngster Anukani Bright for a victory. Ivan Bogere who said that he expects to score and assist against Kira, will be a good addition.
