“I congratulate my colleague (Angola coach) for a good game. We all put our plans into play, they had one chance and they took it, we had several and missed them and that was the difference.

“The goal that we conceded, when they had a goal kick we switched off and they took us before we reacted and the ball was in the net.”

The cubs will rue missed opportunities, with Najib Yiga, Andrew Kawooya, Ibra Mugulusi, Najib Yiga and Ibrahim Juma all having chances. The latter was sent out off in the 87th minute.
