URA FC Vs Mbarara City
BUL FC Vs Bright Stars
Express FC Vs Kirinya Jinja
Paidha BA Vs Onduparaka
Depleted Express will be seeking for revenge against Kirinya Jinja SS in a league game on Wednesday at Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
Joel Madondo scored a late lone goal as Kirinya beat up on Express 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the Mighty Arena.
The Red Eagles will be trying to pay back the visitors but in different currency. However, they will go on that mission without some of their key players.
Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye, on loan from Vipers, is set to miss out after missing out on past training sessions since the draw against Villa.
Tony Odur will continue to miss out due to a knee injury while a trio of Eric Kambale, John Revita and captain Isaac Mutanga who picked knocks against KCCA are set to miss out too.
“We are very ready despite having some injuries in the camp which we got against KCCA,” said club coach George Ssemwogerere.
“I think we are going to have a very good game and we are going to win it. The camp is fine and everyone has the morale to see that we win the game.”
Ssemwogerere is also expected to ring some changes in the goalkeeping department with Mathias Muwanga expected to replace Tony Kyamera.
Shafic Kakeeto and Charles Lubega are expected to fill the depleted places at the back while Kambale and Odur’s absence may be a blessing in disguise for forwards Brian Umony and Mubarak Nsubuga. The latter started against KCCA FC.
Express FC occupy 11th place on the log with 33 points, sitting three places and six points below Kirinya Jinja SS.
The Red Eagles have won once in their last four league games – beating Paidha at home. They drew Villa and lost to URA and KCCA.
