Betting Insight: Who Wins The Manchester Derby?

Is Manchester Red or Blue? The answer will be known tonight.

Differing ambitions will be at stake as Solskjaer’s Manchester United welcome City rivals at the theatre of dreams in a league game on Wednesday night.

The hosts will be seeking to bounce back after a couple of poor results – including a 4-0 loss to Everton – since Solskjaer was confirmed as the manager.

United, sixth on the 20 team log with 64 points, are tasked to claim a champions league spot at the end of the season and can move joint fourth with Chelsea if Arsenal fail to beat Wolves at Molineux.

Pogba and Solskjaer have a big mountain to climb

Man City on the other hand, seated second with 86 points, two points below leaders Liverpool, can claim top spot with a win. City have one simple task, win the remaining four games and be crowned the champions. And that task starts at Old Trafford.

United welcomes back Luke Shaw from suspension but Phil Jones, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia and Eric Baily are set miss out.

Th visitors will not be without crafty attacking Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Man City won the reverse fixture at Etihad 3-1 with Anthony Martial’s goal negligible after Silva, Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan gave City enough cushion.

Who to trust?

According to Betway odds (not static), Man City Win is priced at 1.5, United is given a whooping odd of 4.64 while a draw is valued at 4.64.

It’s a big task for United if you ask them to beat Man City. I mean, Man U have lost six of their last Sox competitions in the league, and have not kept a clean sheet in their last eleven games!

City on the other hand, have won 10 league games since losing 2-1 to Newcastle in January, when the Magpies cane from Aguero’s one minute goal down to defy odds.

It is so visible that City are the favourites here, but if we are to go with their terrible second half show against Spurs recently in the league, and combine it with a fact that this is a game Man United might want with all their life, I smell something.

Tip: I am not advising you to stay away from the 1X2 market, because if you insist, I am going for a draw. But am always attracted to decent odds at Both teams to score.

Accumulators:

Arsenal (Over), Atletico Madrid (Win), Espanyol (goal goal), Milan (goal goal) and Bayern (goal goal)

Best of luck. Betting is for people above 18.
