It should be noted that Smouha are the 2019 Zone five runners up after falling to fellow Egyptian sides Alhy 68-67, in a tournament that was held in Tanzania, where Uganda’s City Oilers withdrew.

This will be the first time that the Silverbucks return to action since falling 92-79 to Rwanda in Lagos, in last year’s World Cup Qualifiers first round phase. The team went on to finish bottom of pool B.
