Crown Beverages, the bottler of Pepsi has rewarded some of their lucky customers who have participated in the ongoing win like a baller campaign with Ugx worth 165,000,000. Now in its 11th week running, the campaign has seen up to 33 individual’s bag a total of 5 million Uganda Shillings each in the weekly draws.
While launching the campaign in Kampala recently, Mr. Isaac Sekasi, Head of Marketing at Crown Beverages remarked that, “Pepsi has a great, storied history of giving back to its customers through life-changing promotions,” adding that, “This particular campaign is tailor-made for the football lovers because we understand how much they love the game which guides our narrative for making it a tradition to run a countrywide UEFA promotion every year.”
The promotion is geared towards giving back to Crown Beverages Limited’s consumers specifically for the Pepsi brand, well knowing that football is a sport that connects with the target market and a uniting factor for people from different walks of life, through celebrating, and sharing memorable experiences of their UEFA participating teams.
“Football is a passion and at a stadium or sportsbar where soccer is being watched, you will not easily tell the difference between the young and old, the rich or poor, the elite or ordinary, the priviledged or under-priviledged, simply because the game unites and brings people together,” narrated Sekasi.
The campaign that kicked off on February 12th 2019, has seen participants from Masindi, Bugiri, Tororo, Kyazanga, Kampala, among others areas, walk away with prizes not limited to the 5 million Ugx, but also instant airtime, mobile money, Pepsi branded soccer balls and jerseys among other things.
