KCCA FC attacking midfielder Allan Okello was the hero as Lango province obliterated Sebei in a FUFA Drum game played at UTC grounds in Lira.

The youngster who is rumoured to be heading out soon for trials overseas, scored not one but three goals in Lango’s 6-1 victory.

Denis Omedi was also on target before exciting Joackim Ojera who turns out for URA FC completed the rout with a brace.

Eric Simuyu brought one back for the visitors who remain with neither a win nor a point after three group games. Sebei had lost to Ankole and Buganda on matchday one and two respectively.

This was the second win for Lango who after falling to Buganda 1-0 on opener fought back to beat Ankole 3-0. KCCA FC defender Timothy Denis Awany and Amuka Bright Stars pair Omedi Denish and Moses Aliro scored one each, then.

In the other game, Busoga inflicted Kampala to their third loss from as many games. Nelson Ssenkatuka’s goal was not enough after Richard Wandyaka scored twice for Busoga to win 2-1 in Kamuli.

Kampala had lost to Rwenzori and Tooro provinces, prior to matchday three. This is the first win for Busoga who had drawn against Rwenzori and Rwenzori.

Tooro and Rwenzori drew one all in the other game played on Sunday.
