Coach Roger Sserunyigo and Harriet Lubowa’s troops made their intentions known right from the start, leading 9-18 in the first quarter before extending their lead to 15 points at halftime.

The team, shooting 25 of 94 from the field, extended their brutality and closed TZ to two points in the third quarter before holding on down the stretch to seal a deserved victory 58-39 win.

Shilla Aber Lamunu led the way with a game high 19 points. Mariam Najjuma (12 pts, 24 rebounds), Regina Ajuma (14 pts, 21 rebounds) contributed double doubles in strong efforts.
