Uganda Premier League outfits Mbarara City FC in preparation for the 2019/20 season, have confirmed various changes in their technical department.
It should be noted that the club, formed in 2010 as Citizen FC, will be making their third straight year in top flight.
Despite not having a head coach at the moment following the departure of Livingston Mbabazi, Baker Kasule who has been an assistant coach, will be the team Technical Director.
Kasule who has served at the Uganda premier league side Proline FC is credited for the great development of the Western side recruiting players in Stephen Othieno, Jasper Aheebwa, Will Makueth and Swed Satugombo notably.
According to Mbarara’s Public relations officer Osborn Mushabe, Brian Ssenyondo who previously served at Synergy FC unleashing a number of great talents will serve as the new Assistant Coach
Yusuf Ssenyonjo has been named as the Goal keeping coach.
It should be known that Mbarara have already recruited Onduparaka’s duo Gaddafi Gadinho and Solomon Okwalinga in preparations for what promises to be an interesting season ahead.
Last season, the Ankole Lions finished fifth with 46 points – 12 wins and 10 draws – from 30 games. They finished below KCCA FC, Vipers, URA and Tooro United.
