American Football Federation Seek To Benefit From Washburn’s Arrival

American Football Federation in Uganda (AFFU) has on Tuesday morning received Jeremiah Washburn, a National Football League (NFL) coach with over 19 years of experience.

Washburn was received by the AFFU president George Okeng at the body’s offices in Ntinda.

Okeng, had earlier told the-SportsNation:

“We hope to get the best out of once in a lifetime opportunity. Coaches and Player development programs shall be reviewed.

“The federation expects to benefit a lot from this visit. He is here in order to forge ways on how to support the Federation and also develop programs for American football in Uganda.”

Wahsburn formerly had spells with Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Caroline Panthers and currently with Philadelphia Eagles.

Washburn who has been in Uganda earlier in 2015 and 2017, is expected to visit camps, give out equipment, Coaches and Referees Clinic both shall facilitated by the veteran coach.
