Official: Vipers Confirm Signing Kayiwa

Vipers Sports club have on Wednesday morning confirmed the signing of former Tooro United forward Allan kayiwa.

The striker, who was part of the Uganda Cranes team that featured in the 2019 COSAFA cup, joins the Venoms on a two year deal.

“We can confirm the signing of forward Allan Kayiwa from Tooro United,” reads an excerpt on Vipers website.

“Kayiwa was officially unveiled to his new teammates by Vipers head coach Michael Nam Ouma this morning at the club training.

“The tantalising forward joins us from the then Fort Portal based club as a free agent on a two year deal thus becomes the first signing of Vipers in this transfer window.”

“I have made the best choice to join this great club, it’s my new home and I am so excited to be here. I’m ready for the new challenge as well ” kayiwa’s remarks after his signature as stated by the club website.

Allan kayiwa was one of the on-form players in the 2018/19 season scoring a total of 10 goals with Tooro United, two behind vipers top scorer Dan sserunkuma (12).
