FUFA Junior League: BUL Youngster Credits Hardwork For MVP Honour

BUL junior team forward Simon Oketch has credited his tremendous efforts after he was named the 2018/19 FUFA Junior League.

Oketch was instrumental as underdogs BUL clinched the title, beating favourites KCCA Soccer Academy 3-0 in the final played on Saturday at FUFA technical centre in Njeru.

“It’s an honour being the MVP of the tournament,” said Oketch. “This MVP accolade has been a result of hardwork.”

The number 10, commended his fellow players, coaches and club management as the Jinja team managed to upset odds.

When asked about his future, the forward dreams big:

“According to my performance, am sure the senior team head coach might promote me.”
