The draws for Uganda secondary school ball games 2 have today been conducted at National council of sports Lugogo in Oasis hall.
This, was officially conducted by assistant commission of sports Mr Sam odongo who graced the occasion.
The games are going to be hosted in Teso at Teso Aloet college school starting on Saturday 6th July 2019, where different schools which qualified at the region competition are going to compete in seven sporting discipline.
The games are also to act as qualifiers for the Fresh diary East Africa Secondary School games to be hosted in Arusha Tanzania meaning the best performing schools in this tournament are to represent Uganda.
“As government we have planned to take these teams to Arusha when they qualify,” said Sam Odongo.
The assistant commissioner, also reemphasized on the rules governing these games to apply ,where he challenged the organisers and schools to field in bonafide students, men and women of integrity in terms of officiating officials to avoid chaos.
The best two teams in each group are the ones to qualify to knock out stage where the best 8 will from to play quarter finals to make 4 to feature in semifinals, down to 2 who will play finals as usual.
In other draws conducted included netball, volleyball, handball and Rugby.
