Police FC head coach Shafiq Bisaso believes that the few lessons picked, from what he called a painful defeat, will help his side to do better in next matches.

Proline FC suffered a 1-0 loss to Rwanda’s APR FC in the group C tie as the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup kicked off at Amahoro Stadium.

“We picked a few lessons, next time I think we are going do a lot,” said Bisaso. “We are here as a new team to learn and I think we are doing our best for now.”

Proline, despite looking inferior on paper, gave the three time champion APR a run for their money before defender and debutant Thierry Manzi scored in the 93rd minute.

“It was a good game but its so painful that we have lost it, may be we would have picked in a point”, Bisaso told the media.

However, Bisaso adimited that APR played so well and it was a nice game for both teams.

Striker Ibrahim Bonyo gave APR a hard time all day but twice failed to beat Omar Rwabugiri.
