Roke Telkom Rugby 7s: Betway Kobs Go Six Clear

Saturday, July 6
Finals – Betway Kobs 25-05 Black Pirates

Betway Kobs eased past rivals Pirates to clinch the Mileke 7s in the National Rugby sevens series at Legends grounds in Kampala.

Aaron Jurua and two tries each from Adrian Kasito and Norbert Okeny gave Kobs a deserved and dominant win.

Desire Ayera made a late try for Pirates but it proved a consolation as Kobs had already made enough damage.

The victory gives Kobs 22 points to go six points clear with 85 points overall. The side had won the Henry Rujumba Sevens in Bweyogerere.

Pirates remain second, six points below leaders, with 79 points. Pirates had won the Buddu 7s in Masaka.
