The Venues where eight provinces are set compete in the FUFA Drum quarter finals have been revealed.
The Fufa Drum chairman Rogers Byamukama has on Wednesday in a press conference held at the Fufa house confirmed that the drum quarters will be played in Gulu and Lira.
Gulu’s Pece stadium will also host the finals while Uganda Technical Centre (UTC Ground) in Lira is the other venue.
This new development means that this year’s knockout stage will not be played at the home and away basis as it was in the inaugural season.
The choice for Venues has been inspired by the big numbers of fans in the Northern parts of the country.
The Drum quarter-finals is slated to be played in October with dates to be communicated sooner
The eight teams to play the Quarter finals:
Busoga, Tooro, Buganda, West Nile, Acholi, Bugisu, Bukedi, Lango.
