Uganda’s senior national Rugby Sevens team will seek to seal this year’s Elgon Cup when they host Kenya in the second leg at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.

Uganda won 16-13 in the first leg in Kisumu, Kenya and the Cranes will bank on home support in what promises to be an entertaining contest.

Head coach Robert Seguya made four changes in the team that picked victory in Kisumu; Ivan Magomu, Mike Otto, Phillip Wokorach and Michael Wokorach all coming into the team.

Action between Uganda and Kenya in the first leg

“My worry is not Kenya, its Uganda. I am focussed on how better we can improve from the other time, will the players play under pressure, will they be able to play under the framework we have set, that is my worry,” said Coach Seguya.

“Am not scared about my opponents, am just looking at the weaknesses and strength of my side and Kenya will be the one to think about us. What I can tell you is that we are ready to go.”
