NBL: City Oilers Drops 110 On Our Saviour

City Oilers strangled Our Saviour in a one sided National Basketball League affair at YMCA court in Wandegeya, Kampala.

The Oilers, missing coach Mandy Juruni who is in the United States, were under Andrew Tendo who was assisted by Stephen Omony, recorded a 110-53 deserved win.

The reigning six time champions shot 43% from the field, made eight free throws from eleven attempts on the line and 19 steals in a convincing display.

Oilers led the first quarter 33-13, opening a 20 point lead and didn’t look back before sealing their eighth straight victory of the league season.

Jonathan Egau scored 17 points, his season high so far. He added 9 rebounds. Landry Ndikumana and Abel Omomgin had 15 and 14 points each. Jimmy Enabu (13), Francis Chisioke (13), Ivan Muhwezi (11) and James Okello (11) all reached double figures.

Maker Mayen scored 17 points while Elton Donald added 11, but Our Saviour will still wait for their first win of the season.
