NBL: City Oilers Face Our Saviour’s Simple Task

City Oilers will go out for another routine victory against struggling Our Saviour as National Basketball League continues on Wednesday.

In a game that promises to be one sided at YMCA as Our Saviour are currently considered to be the weakest team in the league.

The Kikoni based side are yet to win a game – Our Saviour have lost all their 14 league games in the regular season.

They lost the first round against Oilers 52-80 on May 26 at YMCA. Their last outing was another misery against Warriors where they lost 95-54 at Lugogo on Saturday.

Against Oilers, they face not only the six time defending champions but also one of the in form teams currently.

Mandy Juruni’s Oilers have won their last seven league games. They last lost a game against JKL, a period on May 15, after losing two other games in a row against UCU and Warriors in a space of 10 days.

Oilers are set to continue without national team captain Stephen Omony but they didn’t need him against Ndejje which they beat 90-56 on Sunday.

Davis Asiimwe, Wilberforce Pirwoth and Stephen Wokorach will lead Our Saviour’s force against Oilers who have won 11 games and lost just 13.
