CECAFA: Allan Okello Buoyant Ahead Of Semi Final Clash

KCCA FC teenager Allan Okello is positive and confident ahead of their semifinals clash with Green Eagles FC on Friday at the ongoing 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup.

Okello, who recently had trials in Zurich, believes that his side has what it takes to dispatch the Zambian club and reach the finals.

While speaking in a post match press conference in Rwanda, the attacking midfielder noted that his side is in good conditions and are looking forward to correct a few mistakes.

“We are ready to go,” started Okello in a deep voice. “We need to exercise team work and do our best to win the game.”

“We will not promise much but we are ready and have what it takes to reach the finals. We still have a problem of inefficiency but look to correct that, its a matter of utilising our chances.

“We want to score as many goals as we can and to put our defence in a good position.”

Okello has scored one goal at this ongoing tourney – coming against Mukura FC in 2-1 win.

He has been an instrumental figure in their campaign including a knockout game where they eliminated Rayon Sports 2-1 at quarter finals.

It should be remembered that to reach here, they topped a group that had Mukura, Azam and Bandari with seven points.

Zambia’s Green Eagles stunned Gor Mahia to win 2-1 and storm the semis.
