Uganda’s senior national Rugby team, the Rugby Cranes, will face Zimbabwe this Saturday at Legends in the Victoria cup.

The Nile Special sponsored Cranes will seek to put behind their Elgon Cup woes that saw the team fall to Kenya recently at Kyadondo.

The Victoria cup is a tourney involving Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya and teams go head to head in a round robin format.

It should be remembered that the last time both sides faced off, the Sables defeated Uganda in the Gold Cup in 2018.

As Uganda lost 5-16 to Kenya Simbas in the second leg of Elgon Cup, Zimbabwe managed to beat Zambia and are expected to come in Kampala with confidence.

Coach Robert Seguya has made four notable changes, with Betway Kobs duo Ian Munyani and Brian Asaba dropped because of concussion. Saul Kivumbi and Joseph Kagimu are the other players dropped.

Faragi Odugo, Eric Mulamula, Ivan Kabagambe and Kelvin Balagadde are the replacements.
