Three time Startimes Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers SC have on July 27 confirmed the return of Edward Golola as head coach.
This is the third stint for Golola as Vipers’ head coach having served from the 2009 to 2011 and 2014 to 2015 seasons.
Golola also served as an assistant to Portuguese Miguel Da Costa and Kenyan Michael Nam Ouma in 2017/18 and 2019 respectively.
The development at the Kitende based side was confirmed by the club president at St.marys stadium on Saturday morning as stated by the club website.
“We can confirm Edward Golola as our next coach and we are to rally behind him,” Lawrence Mulindwa told the news to the players.
Golola will be deputised by Richard Wasswa, who also returns for the third spell.
Golola will kick start his new job on the 31st of July with a visit to Proline FC at the Startimes stadium in the Pilsner super eight.
