Moses Basena Finds New Job In Rwanda

Azam Rwanda premier league side Sunrise FC have acquired the services of Moses Basena, it has been confirmed.

Basena, former Uganda Cranes coach, has joined on a two year contract.

The former SC villa coach has been unemployed since he left the Nsambya team when results weren’t going to his expectations.

Sunrise FC parted ways with former coach Justin Bisengimana near the end of the previous season with Evaliste Ntamugabumwe taking charge of the last five games of the season.

His main task will be to sail the Nyagatare-based club through to top places. The side finished 13th on the 16 team log with 34 points.

Basena walks to the Rwanda side with some experience having coached KCCA FC, UPDF FC, Sc Villa. He was also an assistant coach of Uganda under Serbian tactican Sredejovic ‘Micho’ Milutin.
