URA FC head coach Sam Ssimbwa has asked the concerned to look into poor officiating issues which always happen at Kakyeka stadium.

While speaking in a press conference at Kati Kati Restaurant on Thursday ahead of Friday’s FUFA Pilsner Super encounter against Mbarara City set in Kakyeka, Simbwa complained about unfair judgement whenever his side visits Kakyeka.

“The referees are always biased in favour of Mbarara to the extent of counting wrong goals,” said Ssimbwa.

“We think if we get fair officiating, different from previous times we visited Mbarara, I think we will come out victorious.”

Ssimbwa also disclosed that referees share the same dressing room with the home team – Mbarara City at Kakyeka which he thinks that should be changed and unfair.

He also said that he is hard done by the failure to rescheduling his game as URA FC has three players on the National team.

He said:

“We wanted to take this trophy but we are lacking some of our best players who are with national team.

“We thought our game also could have been called off as that of KCCA FC. We had prepared very well but our best players are on national team.”

James Alitho, Paul Mbowa and Shafic Kagimu are the three URA FC players in Cranes camp for CHAN qualifiers.

However, Ssimbwa believes that his side will put up a better performance.
