Official: Sserunkuma Joins KCCA FC On Two-Year Deal

Reigning Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC have signed Simon Sserunkuma, it’s official.

The-Sportsnation.com broke the news last week, the club has now confirmed that the player has joined on a two year deal.

He signs from Tooro United just two weeks after e had renewed a one year contract. He had spells with SC Villa and Express FC to complete a ‘VEK’ (Villa Express KCCA) combination.

The tricky winger also had stints with the now defunct Victors FC, Vipers and Tanzania’s Simba SC.

“I am delighted to join KCCA FC,” Simo, as commonly known in the football circles, told the club website. “The club has a rich history and an enviable way of doing things. Now that I am here, I want to win trophies with these players and I want to add on the success that I have found here.”

“I spoke to the Manager before joining and he shared with me his philosophy and it is now my responsibility to take up any task given to me. I feel so ready.”

The striker will put on Jersey number 27 and he becomes the second addition for the ‘garbage collectors’ who recently unveiled Erisa Ssekisambu.
