Vipers Buoyant After Acquiring Shaban

Vipers have officially announced the signing of striker Mohammed Shaban.

The club confirmed the news via their official website.

The striker joins the Kitende based side as a free agent. He was released by his former team Raja Casablanca.

Vipers coach Edward Golola is positive and convinced that they have got a hot asset.

“Shaban is a very talented and good player. Our season last year showed us that we need options and quality to add depth to the squad upfront and Shaban is a proven marksman. I’m delighted that he accepted to join us,” Golola told the club website.

Shaban had joined Raja in 2018 after spending a season with KCCA FC. He also had a stint with Arua based Onduparaka.

Muhammad Shaban said:

“I am thrilled to be joining Vipers SC. I’m looking forward to playing in the Uganda Premier League again. I’m keen to get started and make my contribution to the team’s efforts to win more trophies.”

Allan Kayiwa, Siraje Ssentamu, Paul Willa are one of the club’s other new signings.
