Newly promoted Big league team, Katwe United have completed the signing of former Express FC duo Billy Nkata and Richard ‘Gaza’ Kigozi.
The duo has signed a 3-year contract with the Club subject to renewal depending on their performance, Katwe FC has revealed.
Billy was recently the captain of Express FC U-17 team but has struggled to breakthrough the senior squad, especially since George Ssemwogerere was named as coach.
He recently had trials with Proline FC but the deal failed to mature.
He is one of the most highly rated youngsters in the country with the capability to beat defenders and find spaces in opponents defence.
Gaza on the other hand, joins as after having a spell at Wakiso Giants last season as the side attained Premier League status.
The industrious midfielder also played for Express FC before joining Kitara FC.
Coached by former Express FC legend Hassan Mubiru, Katwe United renewed contracts of some of their players that included Captain Mukwaya Reagan alias Sadat, Ssendiisa Nicolas, Ssemwanga Saul, Muwanguzi Benjamin, Shafiq Moses, Lwetute Denis, Lubowa Michael, Ssemwogerere Wasswa, Katumba Alex, Bukenya Moses and Mulindwa Rayan.
