Seif Batte Joins Newly Promoted UPL Side

Attacker Seif Batte has joined newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kyetume FC, this website can confirm.

Batte has joined Kyetume FC as a free agent on a two-year deal.

Last season, played for Maroons FC after joining from Bright Stars. He has played for Kazo FC and Stegotta FC in lower divisions.

The once highly rated winger cum forward, was part of the Uganda Cranes team that played in CHAN 2018 in Morocco.

He is one of some recruits at Kyetume that have already added Siraje Turyamuhebwa, Dante, Baker Buyala and Joel Mutakubwa.

Kyetume FC is one of the three clubs set to host league games at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole. The other two are URA FC and SC Villa.

Coached by George Best Nsimbe and Mutono David, this will be the club’s debut season in top flight.
