Super Eight: Diego, Leku Set For Proline Debut Ahead Of URA

Proline FC will ring changes from their team that beat Masters Security FC when they face URA FC on Wednesday.

The newly promoted league side will visit the tax collectors in a FUFA Pilsner Super eight placement game at Mandela National stadium in Namboole.

Proline and URA FC were knocked out by Vipers and Onduparaka respectively.

New signings Alfred Leku and Hamis ‘Diego’ Kiiza are expected to feature for Shafic Bisaso’s side.

Leku joined from Jwaneng Galaxy from Botswana while Diego joined the Kitende based team after the expiry of his short contract at Vipers SC.

“We use this tournament to test most of our players, so we want to give changes to some of the players who didn’t play on Friday on the continent,” said Coach Bisaso.

“We want to take some few lessons and see how we can go froward. We hope to put up a good fight.”

The last time these two teams faced off, URA FC beat Proline 2-1 in the 2017/18 season for the latter to succumb to relegation.

Proline FC who beat Masters Security 3-0 thanks to Ivan Bogere’s hat-trick in the Confederation cup preliminary qualifiers and will visit Malawi in the return leg in two Weeks time.
