Onduparaka FC’s player Ezra Bida to miss FUFA Pilsner Super Eight Semifinals against KCCA FC at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo on Friday.

The midfielder has lost his elder brother and did not travel with the team to Kampala.

Bida who joined the club in 2017 from Koboko Rising stars, has joined the rest of his family for vigil and burial of his late brother.

Bida, who has been part of Uganda Cranes team set up from the U17, was born in 1999 to Samuel Bida and Lucia Sadia.

Onduparaka Hope To Stun KCCA FC

Onduparaka will be targeting revenge when they face KCCA FC in the super eight semis, a team they lost to in last year’s finals.

Onduparaka beat Tooro United in penalty shootouts to reach this stage.

The Assistant coach Onduparaka FC Sadik Sempigi, said that he is aware of how good is KCCA is but his side is ready to put up a good challenge and very optimistic to do much better.

“On our side, we are optimistic, we have trained very hard to avoid disappointments,” Sempigi told the press on Thursday.

“We know how hard and organised KCCA FC is but we are going to give them a big challenge tomorrow and we are going to handle them with accordingly.”

The winner between the two teams will play Vipers SC in the final. The loser will face Mbarara City FC for a 3/4 placement game.
