Reports: Allan ‘Dancing Rasta’ Kateregga Signs For UPL Side

Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder Allan Kateregga has signed for newly promoted Wakiso Giants, The-SportsNation.com sources have discovered.

The dancing rasta as commonly known in the football circles has reportedly joined the club as a free agent. He was released by South African side Cape Town.

Kateregga who was regarded as surplus to requirements at Cape Town, played for Maritzburg United on loan where he helped the club to beat the drop.

Kateregga also played for Victoria University, Tusker FC (Kenya), BUL FC, AFC Leopards (Kenya) and KCCA FC.

If the deal to Wakiso Giants is confirmed, he will another marquee signing for the club after Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Viane Ssekajugo.

The 2018/19 FUFA big League runners up have also acquired Hassan Ssenyonjo, Muwadda Mawejje, Ibrahim Kiyemba among others.

Coached by Kefa Kisala, the Purple Sharks who will be hosting games at Kyabaggu Stadium, is one of the teams that have made adequate preparations for the season.
