Proline’s Ivan Bogere Hails Departing ‘Father Figure’ Bisaso

Proline FC striker Ivan Bogere believes that departing coach Shafic Bisaso moulded him into the player he is now.

Bisaso parted ways with the club and is heading to Sweden to further his studies.

Bogere, speaking to the-SportsNation.com after news of Bisaso’s departure, noted:

“He is the one who moulded me into who I am, he guided me and corrected me accordingly.

“It is sad that he is leaving, it has not affected me alone but all the players. He has been a parent to many of us here. He is the one who believed in us, more than anyone. As an individual, he picked me from the Masaza and has been therefore me ever since.”

Before Proline FC, Bogere who recently scored an hat-trick against Masters Security FC of Malawi in CAF Confederation Cup Qualifiers, played for Kakiri Town Council and Masaza’s Buwekula.
