Onduparaka FC is optimistic that they will play their first league game at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.
Greenlight Stadium is one of the grounds that didn’t qualify to host league games, and consequently, Onduparaka was redirected to host at Luzira Prisons grounds.
However, the Caterpillars are hopeful and are set to ask for a reinspection due to recent development done on the stadium.
“We expect a reinspection before the start of the league, and I believe that we have fulfilled the required standards this time round,” one club official told this website.
According to the licensing committee, Greenlight Stadium had no Sanitary facilities, the surface of the pitch was poor and the dressing rooms also needed improvement.
