We are Capable Of Surprising Anyone – Wakiso’s Viane Ssekajugo

Wakiso Giants’ forward Viane Ssekajugo has issued a strong warning to all other teams as the 2019/20 season nears.

Viane has claimed that people should not rule out his side just because they claim that they are new comers.

The striker who joined Wakiso from Onduparaka FC, opened his account as drew 2-2 with URA FC before the tax collectors won in shootouts to claim third place in the Pilsner Super Eight.

“We seem to be a new club but capable of surprising everyone in the league and I know if we revise well our notes we can take one of the trophies,” Viane told the-SportsNation.com in an exclusive interview.

Viane is expected to carry the team’s scoring burden alongside Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Karim Ndugwa as the Purple Sharks look to terrorise defences in the league.

On how he expects to team up for the upcoming season, the soft spoken player explained:

“Geoffrey is a very good player and everyone would like to play with him.

“I always enjoy it when its my last pass for anyone to score. Though I can also score but I cannot tell you that I want to score this or that number but I will score as much as am in good position.”

On why he chose Wakiso Giants despite interests from Mbarara City FC and Vipers SC, he added:

“As a player its always healthy to face new challenge and competition so that you can weigh your self and improve on your game. I am ready for competition here because as a player who is willing to improve on ma game, competition is one of the things that can do it very well for me.”
