Uganda Premier league Secretariat is expected to reschedule the league fixture between Onduparaka FC and Police FC.
The encounter, according to the fixture released recently, is supposed to be played on Friday August 30 at Luzira Prisons grounds.
However, The-SportsNation.com sources have discovered that Police FC will be departing this Friday to Kenya for the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) games.
The games are set to start on August 25 at the Kasarani Stadium in Kenya. This will be the third edition of the tourney where Uganda hosted the first edition at UCU in Mukono. The second edition was held in Tanzania.
Police FC has already written to UPL and FUFA in regards to the matter, and have asked to postpone their opener. An official communication is yet to be issued out.
Uganda Police is expected to participate in other sports disciplines beside football that include Netball, Handball, Volleyball, Boxing, Athletics among others.
