New Proline FC head coach Mathias Lule has said is happy that the team has qualified to the next round despite putting up an average performance.

Proline played a goaless draw against Masters Security FC in second leg of CAF Confederation Cup first Pleliminaries in Malawi.

The result means that Proline is through to the next round with 3-0 aggregate win after winning the first leg in Kampala two weeks ago.

“Am happy that the team is through to the next round,” said coach Lule in Lilongwe after the match.

“We struggled and the performance was average. The boys tried to change in the second half but its too bad that we still missed a lot of chances to convert.

“I hope we can improve going forward, we are to get back to Kampala to fight and see how we going to handle the next team.”

Proline is now only two ties away to the group stages of CAF Confederation cup. The side will now face off with Rwanda’s AS Kigali in a double header.
