Vipers on their hand needed penalties to get past Mbarara City FC in the semis after ousting Proline FC in the quarter final.

What they said:

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi – We want to win this game and get to two Pilsner Super 8 cups. We want to retain the cup. It is in our DNA to win. We hope to have recovered well from Friday’s CAF game so that we produce a thrilling game for our fans to enjoy. Matches against Vipers always have a lot of buzz and anticipation and we want to live up to this kind of magnitude. We are likely to have a few new faces that did not play on Friday and hopefully they can get the job done.

Vipers Coach Edward Golola – We are fired up and have done everything well to be at the finals for the first time. We are playing a good side but we are not bothered by their recent good run. They should expect the best from us and this is the perfect time.
