No MVP was crowned, an accolade which Onduparaka’s Viane Ssekajugo won last year in the inaugural edition after his side lost to KCCA FC in the finals.

However, Man of the match, best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and topscorer were all awarded with a gong and a microwave.

Vipers’ Bayo who bagged a double was named man of the match after his efforts helped his team lift the trophy while his teammate Fabien Mutombora who conceded one goal throughout the tourney walked home with best goalkeeper gong.

KCCA FC’s Allan Okello was named the topscorer for his three goals. He scored a double against Onduparaka and had notched one against Wakiso Giants.

Mbarara City’s Ronald Otti and URA FC’s Saidi Kyeyune were consoled with best Defender and Midfielder respectively.

Mutombora was named the best goalkeeper.

It should be noted that the Super Eight is a preseason tourney that brings together the two promoted teams from Big league and six best performers of the concluded season.

Best Goalkeeper – Fabien Mutombora (Vipers Sc)
