Reports: KCCA FC Midfielder Joins Wakiso Giants On Season Long Loan

Newly promoted Startimes Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants FC have acquired the services of Lawrence Bukenya from KCCA FC on a season long loan, The-SportsNation sources have learnt.

Bukenya, a defensive midfielder, is one of the players KCCA FC graduated from their academy in 2016 /17 season.

The 20 year old and a darling to the KCCA FC manager Mike Hilary Mutebi has found stiff competition from experienced players in Nicholas Kasozi, Sadam Juma and Gift Abubakar Ali.

He has won two Uganda cup trophies in 2016/17 and 2017/18 season and was in the 2016/17 named the Most Valuable Player for KCCA FC.

The midfielder has also won two Startimes Uganda Premier League trophies – 2016/17 and 2018/19 season

He will join the likes of Hakim Ssenkumba, Ayub Kisalita, Ivan Ssebuguzi to mention but afew to vie for a starting position in Kefa Kisala’s team.
