Tooro United FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa believes his side will finish inside the top four in the Uganda Premier League.
Tooro finished fourth on log last season, their best ever finish, with 49 points behind KCCA FC, Vipers SC and URA FC.
Bbosa has said that his boys can replicate and better last season’s performance.
“My target in the league most of times is to finish in top five or top four and its my main target again this year for Tooro,” said Bbosa.
“No one doesn’t like to take the league, its our focus as coaches and players but we have to worker together as a team.”
Bbosa also indicated that they have done enough preparation with the help of many trials during the preseason including the Super Eight tourney where they finished 7th.
“We have prepared ourselves so well depending on the last months of preseason, all players are in good condition and very focused we are trying to observe them and talk to them so that we have a common target.”
Bbossa who join Tooro at the start of 2018/19 season after parting ways with Villa SC, will kick off his campaign at the clubs new home ground Betway Muteesa II stadium Wankuluku against Busoga United on August 30th, 2019.
It should be noted that Tooro United shifted from Buhinga Stadium after the ground failed to meet minimum standards set by UPL licencing committee for any stadium to host games.
