Vipers SC has sent out a ninth player on loan, it’s official – the club confirmed the development via their official website.
However, FUFA had earlier told clubs not to loan out more than seven players in a season.
“Club may not loan more than 7 in any case not more than 4 players from amongst the junior players,” reads a document in part from the Federation.
However, FUFA competitions director Hajjat Aisha Nalule has told the-SportsNation.com that the Venoms are still operating within the rules.
The club’s goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya is the latest player to leave Kitende for a loan deal, becoming the tenth player to be lent out.
Ssekagya has been loaned to Proline FC for the rest of the 2019/20 season.
Ssekagya heads to Proline on loan to gain further first team experience, the club has suggested.
Ssekagya joined Vipers in June 2018 from UPDF where he had an amazing 2017/18 season before the army side was relegated.
He made his debut for Vipers in June 2018 during CECAFA Kagame Cup tournament in Der es Salaam.
He has only made nine appearances for Venoms before picking a knee injury in CAF Champions League qualifier game against CS Constantine in Algeria.
