Uganda Cranes: Bayo Named In Squad To Face Kenya In Friendly

Uganda Cranes acting head coach Abdallah Mubiru has revealed his squad that will face neighbours Kenya.

The two East African nations will face off on September 8, 2019 in a friendly match that will be played in Nairobi.

The squad includes both local and foreign based players.

Vipers’ new striker Fahad Bayo has been included on a 25 man squad. He has impressed the selectors in his two games he has played since his return from Napsters and Buildcon FC.

He bagged a brace against KCCA FC as Vipers lifted the Super Eight Cup at Wankulukuku and was very integral as the Venoms came from down to beat Bright Stars 3-1 at the same stadium.

KCCA FC creative midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba has also been included. The former Maroons and Victoria University has been a reliable figure at Lugogo since joining the 13 time league champions in 2015.

The other local based players include Charles Lukwago (KCCA), Allan Kayiwa (Vipers), John Revita (KCCA) among others.
