Vipers Vs Tooro: Kayiwa Ready For Former Masters

Vipers’ attacker Allan Kayiwa is confident that his side will pick maximum points when they face his former team Tooro United.

Kayiwa has already impressed for the Venoms sinvethe joined in preseason from Tooro, a club he joined about three years back fr Zzana mixed SS.

The winger who can also play as a forward, speaking with The-SportsNation.com ahead of the tie, noted:

“I am very confident that we will win, I know they will give us a hard time but we have done enough preparations and we will be victorious at the end of the day.”

“As an individual, this will be emotional for me facing a team that I used to call home, there are many friends for me there, I loved the fans especially last season when we shifted to Buhinga, but this Football and Vipers is my new home.

“I want to help this team win, and I want to score or create chances for my teammates so as we can fulfil our set goals at the end of the season.”

Vipers come into the game on the back of a strong performance after the side came from a goal down at the break to beat Bright Stars 3-1.

Opponents Tooro United also managed to overcome Busoga United to get off the mark, all games played at Wankulukuku.

“We want to win, we picked a point last season there but we have made rectifications and we are hoping for maximum points,” stated Tooro coach Wasswa Bbosa.

The ‘Car dealers’ will welcome back Godfrey Lwesibawa, Willy Kavuma and Ibrahim Kayiwa after the trio missed the team’s 2-1 victory against Busoga. The latter will be making his league debut since joining from Express FC.

The Venoms on the other hand, will still wait for Shaban Mohammed to recover, Frank Zaga Tumwesigye limped off against Bright Stars and will not be available while Livingston Mulondo and Geoffrey Wasswa are still long term absentees.

Tooro United has never beaten Vipers in all league attempts but held the side in both games last season.
