Busoga 0-1 KCCA: More Work Needs To Be Done – Mutebi

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi has said that his team still have more to improve after labouring to a 1-0 win on the road against Busoga United.

Mustafa Kizza scored the only goal of the game for the defending champions to extend their perfect start to the season and remain unbeaten against Busoga in the league on their seventh attempt.

The gaffer was pleased with the result, but not with the general performance of his side. He however lauded the players’ fighting spirit as Busoga made them toil for the needed win.

“The performance is not good but the good this is that we are winning,” said Mutebi whose team has won two games from as many. The side beat Wakiso Giants in their opener.

“Today we suffered for the win but there’s nothing going to be simple this season. The boys showed character, fought until the 90th minute for the result because Busoga United pressed us hard.”

He also stressed on the need to improve the ball use and efficiency in the final third as his side prepares to host Maroons in their next league engagement.
