Busoga United coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko is positive his side will bounce back from a false start.
Busoga remain without a point from tge two opening games of the season – The side lost 1-0 to KCCA FC, after a 2-1 loss against Tooro United in their league opener.
Bogere has stressed that there is no cause for an alarm.
“We have lost 1-0 against KCCA FC but there is much hope according to my players performance,” Bogere told the press after Mustafa Kizza’s strike proved to be the difference.
“Losing 2-1 to Tooro United and 1-0 against KCCA FC with a number of chances failed to be converted there is much anticipation for better days ahead.
“We pressed KCCA FC but luck was not our side. We created chances, defended well but missed a couple of chances.”
This was the first competitive game for Busoga United at the Njeru artificial turf this season and Bogere had no excuses;
“My players play on the turf most of the time and they did play really some good football better than a team that plays on it daily,” he commented.
Busoga United will be welcoming Bright Stars in their next league fixture.
