URA FC: Birungi Signs Two Year Contract

URA Football Club has confirmed the acquisition of winger Birungi Michael.

Birungi who played for Express Football Club last season, has joined Sam Ssimbwa’s charges on a two year deal.

“I am pleased to join URA FC which is, without doubt, one of the best teams in the country. I have come here to help the team win trophies and go back to its glory days.l,” Birungi noted as quoted by the club website.

“I am also pleased to join the great group of players at URA FC and hopefully, we can work together to lift trophies again for this club.

“I am here to give my best. By best I mean 110%.”

Birungi who joined Express FC in 2017, has also played for KCCA FC and Police FC among other clubs.

He joins a couple of new signings for the tax collectors that include Ivan Sserubiri, Ntege Anwar, Ivan Ntege, Ashraf Mandela among others.

The side beat Maroons 3-0 in their opener before losing 3-1 to Wakiso Giants. They face Kyetume FC in their next engagement.
