SC Villa were robbed during their StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter with Mbarara City on Wednesday at Namboole.
Precious possessions from players and officials were stolen from the dressing room of the record winners in a game that was played under floodlights.
Team striker Bashir Mutanda told The-SportsNation.com that they learned of the shocking news on their return to the room at fulltime.
“They took our wallets, bags, phones and money,” he disclosed.
It was told that new left back Yayo Lutimba had travelled with him Sh1.5M, goalkeeper Saidi Keni and Ambrose Kirya were also robbed Sh500,000 and Sh300,000 respectively.
Other four bags, Yayo’s phone and national IDs were also not spared.
