Police FC Vs Mbarara – 4PM
Proline FC Vs SC Villa – 4PM

Express FC will seek to end their hoodoo against Onduparaka when the two sides meet at Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Last season, Ezra Bida and Gaddafi Gadinho were on target as Onduparaka beat Express 2-0 at Wankulukuku.

The return leg ended goalless in Arua, on the last day of the season as Onduparaka finished in sixth with 45 points, five above Express (40) in 10th on a 16 UPL 2018/19 log.

This will be the seventh meeting and Express will not hoping that this will mark their first win against the Caterpillars – Onduparaka has three and drawn as many in six games.

Pressure will again be on hosts coach George Ssimwogerere who has to deliver after managing just a point from two games – Express drew one all against Bright Stars after a 1-0 loss away to BUL FC.

“We expect to play an attacking game because we know how Onduparaka plays,” said Ssimwogerere as quoted by the club’s website.

“They play with 4 defenders, 2 blocking midfielders then three attacking midfielders and one striker they use their striker a lot then three other attacking midfielders help him.

“On the wings they don’t open up a lot they play on the middle a lot so it means their midfield has 5 people or six because they lack winger so we have tried to lay a strategy to stop them in the middle and as a home team we have to open them up and play defense splitting passes to score the goals.”

Express will miss goalkeepers Mathias Muwanga and Tony Kyamera who are still nursing injuries.

The game might have come so early for Idris Kaye.
