Police FC Temporarily Shifts To Namboole

Police FC third league game against Mbarara FC has been shifted to Namboole, it’s official.

This comes after the unavailability of Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, the current home ground for Police, which was already booked by others users on that date.

The letter from UPL Secretariat which confirmed the development:

“The Secretariat is in receipt of a letter from police FC notifying us that Kabaka Kyabagu Sports Stadium Wakiso will not be available for use since it had been booked earlier for another event and has requested that the match be played at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

“Accordingly the secretariat has considered their request and change the match venue #23 Police FC Vs Mbarara City From Kabaka Kyabaggu Sports Stadium to Mandela National Stadium, Namboole. Time and date remained unchanged.”

It should be noted that Police FC shifted from StarTimes Stadium where they hosted their league games last season before moving to Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium after the return of Proline FC in the league who used to share the stadium with the owners KCCA FC.
