Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan ‘Dancing Rasta’ Kateregga has joined a club in Western Asia.
Kateregga has been unveiled on Saturday by Erbil Sports Club, a team that plays in top tier of Iraq football.
The player was earlier linked to a move to Wakiso Giants but sources said that his demands were high before the move fell through.
He was part of the Uganda Cranes team that played in 2019 AFCON and is the latest to get a new club – Abdul Lumala, Godfrey Walusimbi, Taddeo Lwanga, Mike Azira among others have all got lucrative deals.
Kateregga played for Maritzburg United on loan from Cape Town City in South Africa last season.
He has featured for KCCA FC, AFC Leopards, Tusker FC and Victoria University.
Erbil was home to Uganda’s Ivan Bukenya and Sula Matovu Malouda.
